This is my son at band rehearsal this past Tuesday night.
And these pictures were taken by my husband last summer at a musical I was in. Can you guess the title? (I'm sure you know it - it's a very well known show!)
We seem to have caught them all blinking...
You will see me farthest to the left in the above shot. :)
Have a great weekend everyone! I hope to have some Sunflower photos for you soon!

I am getting married in the morning, ding dong the bell will chime, so get me to the church on time.
I was costume dresser for the housekeeper when I was in high school.
last year, I went to a professional production. Brings me back to when I was 17.
How lucky for you to live in a community that supports the arts! While we have access to most of these things in our part of the world, musical theater is an American art form that hasn't quite caught on here as strongly. I miss that :(
Have a great day!

Yay Ann! You are absolutely right! :) It was a lot of fun - and one of my favorite shows!
Dana, that's too bad that the musical hasn't caught on as much in other parts of the world, but I can understand why... Even in the US, it seems to have a very niche audience.
When I moved from the Dallas, TX area (which had about 6 million people) to Topeka, KS (population around 120,000) I was afraid I would be missing so much culture. However, it seems the opposite is true! For such a small town, they have so MANY opportunities to both watch programs and participate in them!
wow! how fun! I didn't know you were an actress. do you do plays often? love the shots of the play and your son in the band. I was in band also in high school.
Doreen, I'm more a "wannabe" actress. I do the musicals in the summer (because I don't have time during the school year.) I would like to do something that is not a musical at some point just to develop some actual acting chops... I'm still such an amateur!
Aren't marching band and football games the best thing about high school??? :)
Ahh I love My Fair Lady, a wonderful play. Can imagine how you enjoyed being part of it all.
I have always loved that about Kansas...people may think we're pretty po-dunk, but we've got our fair share of museums, art galleries, theaters, etc.
