My Search for Americana - Part 2

So, after going with the cliche route for things that mean Americana, I decided to give this whole America thing some deeper thought.  How do you sum up the meaning of a nation in one photograph?  It's not possible.  That's like defining a person with one word.

In that case, I thought, let's get a little closer to home.  I began to look for things that were more personal to me.  Things that mean the land that I love.




To me, that means peaceful calm, home, and friends.

Fields of wildflowers

Country Roads

Time by the water

Sitting on the porch with friends

Drinking a cold Coke on the porch

 And friends with a great sense of humor
