Happy Surprise

You already know I went out looking for sunsets earlier this week.  As soon as the sun set, I hopped back in my car and was heading back into town.  Luckily, I happened to look up and noticed the awesome color of the sky....  I knew exactly where I had to go... and I had to hurry before that color was gone!!!

The Capitol Building

I had to circle the building to find a vantage point that didn't have construction all over the place.  There is still a little visible here, but I don't think it detracts.  I got 3 shots off (each one was a 30 second exposure), and then it was gone... the sky turned black.

Timing is everything!!
