Flowers and Inspiration

I was at a rose garden taking flowers yesterday.  There were so many great shots of beautiful flowers.

As I took one particular shot, I noticed the bokeh - the out of focus, blurry area.  I got to wondering if I should perhaps make some inspirational posters out of my shots.  Here are a few of the things I was playing with last night.

Now THAT was fun!  Finding the quotes took a little while, but it was worth it!  I'm starting to think about trying to sell some prints and/or make some posters.  If I do, I'll be sure to tell you about the process and what I learn.

Blessings to you all this beautiful Sunday!

They are beautiful - I especially like the pink rose.

I thought of you today as I tried to photograph my first waterfall. The shutter speed was fine, but there was a lot of light and the shots were no overall what I had hoped for. I purchased Photoshop Elements and am hoping I can fix it up somewhat; once I learn how to use it, that is! :)

Have fun with your new purchase! Be patient and read a lot. It takes some time to get used to. I hope you can get your pictures to turn out the way you want them. If not, don't fret too much - it takes a lot of practice. Most of mine don't turn out like I want them either....

Keep practicing! And most importantly, have fun!
