Anyway, my daughter and I took a field trip to the Bark Park in Topeka's Gage Park. It's a nice place set aside in the park for dogs to run and play together and not have to be on a leash. There are two different enclosures, one for large dogs and one for small dogs.
Here are some of the cute and lovable pets we met while we were there.
I learned that dogs are VERY hard to photograph. They are always moving! I have lots of blurry pictures! Hahahahaa!
Why don't you check out everyone else's Shoot Out here:
Much Love,
Tiffany

I love that last shot, a postcard-perfect photo!
Over here, dogs has to be on leash in public area otherwise the owner is liable for a fine .
Great idea to hit the bark park! They are hard to photography and when they slow down they usually have their tongues hanging out a mile to cool off.
Oh, I think these are great. I love the idea of the dog house at the bark park. Your photos are wonderful and it's a great idea for practicing portraiture of animals. You just inspired me.
I loved them all, but that bulldog really tugged at my heart! Great shots!
Well Tiffany, I'm glad you said that thing about having taken a lot of blurry shots! Because all of these shots are so natural and perfect that you make it look easy. And I know it's not. Your first shot is a perfect example of the "my town" aspect of this meme.
Ohh, that bulldog is awesome! What a great shot :) I love the one of the spaniel lounging on the bench, too...like she's just too busy relaxing to run around some park.
Aren't they so cute!! A bunch of cuties!

Wonderful photos. Love the one taking it easy on the bench. And the bulldog, what a great shot!
i love these doggies. they seem to be naughty no wonder it was difficult to capture them lol.
I loooove them....the bulldog with the pink harness..priceless! I totally know what you mean about photographing pooches...not so easy! You did a great job!!!
Thank you everyone for the enthusiasm! That lovely bulldog with the pink harness was a hit. She was SO sweet and just a cute little chunk (ok, not so little.) Her name was Tullah! How great is that??? :)
