So can anyone tell me why the moon has a strange little reflection?? As nearly as I can tell, things seem to be focused. I feel like I need my glasses on while I'm looking at the moon.
Any ideas???

Hi! I googled your question...seems to be a normal moon reflection. Sometimes it is called a moon bow.
I'm sure aperture has something to do with it. You could experiment to see.
Thank you for taking the time to look at it Donna! I really appreciate it!
This is the first time I've ever had that happen in an evening shot. Aperture would make sense. I'll have to play with it a bit and see.
If the exposure time (seed) was 0.3seconds, the extra part of the moon you are getting many be caused from the rotation of the earth. The moon is so far away with a slow shutter speed in will show up as a blur or streak. I don't think it has any thing to do with the aperture. Try it when the moon is full. You will be amazed at how fast of a shutter speed you will need! Still a fun shot.
(seed) should be speed, looks like I missed a letter! Sorry
